Just a block away from the Brooklyn Bridge, this once-historic warehouse was converted into loft-style condos. When our clients bought the space, it was outdated and the layout wasn’t suited to their lifestyle. We created an entry space with a custom wood slat room divider that facilitated easy home arrivals and kept site lines open. We removed partitions and exposed columns to create a large dining room for hosting family gatherings. Our clients missed their backyard, so we brought the outdoors in with plants. We created ample storage space and a large spot for homework and art projects with a full wall of custom bookshelves and desks. We gave this dated space a new modern feel while meeting the needs of their family of four, including two young children.
